Emma Mackley
Integrative counsellor
I am a qualified integrative counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I have experience supporting young adults within higher education as well as working alongside frontline services.
I can offer support with:
- Anxiety and stress
- Burnout
- Trauma
- Life transitions
- Identity and self-exploration
- Low self-esteem
- Loneliness and disconnection
- Neurodivergence
- Building resilience
At the heart of my person-centred approach is the relationship we build together. I offer a warm, compassionate and down-to-earth environment where you can feel supported, heard and accepted.
I want our sessions to be a space where you can be yourself, without judgement or expectation. Somewhere you don’t have to put on a brave face, have all the answers or be the person who holds everything together.
We will work collaboratively, exploring whatever you bring to our sessions, focusing on what is at the forefront of your mind and working at a pace that feels right for you. As an integrative counsellor, I can draw on different therapeutic approaches and tailor our work to your specific needs.
I work with clients in person in Canterbury and online. I practice in accordance with the BACP Ethical Framework. I am fully insured and hold an Enhanced DBS.
Finding the right counsellor is an important part of the process. If you feel I might be the right fit for you, I offer a free 15-minute introductory call. This gives us an opportunity to talk briefly about what has brought you to counselling, answer any questions you may have and get a sense of whether working together feels right for you.
Fees: £45 / 50min session
